this article was in Salon. I think its a pretty good defense of the hobby...pointing out that sites such as this one help keep EVERYBODY safer...thoughts?

The link between decriminalizing sex work and reduced rates of sexual violence and STIs is something many sex workers and sex worker advocates are already well aware of. But it's great to see more statistics proving that point. Hopefully the "powers that be" get with it.

I found the article thought provoking and wonder what if ECCIE were closed how would we find the safe providers? I am widowed and find companionship through ECCIE. I would be at a loss with out this site. I know we are restricted in naming other sites such as this but how would we stay in contact? I have the private email addresses for my ATFs so I would just continue with those that I know.

I hobby because i like to meet people. I am a people person. Also it gives me the flexibility to work for myself and set my hours as I choose. when I was working a RL job, the hours were awful and I never got to enjoy life even on my days off because I was always strapped for monies because all of my bills took it. I enjoy giving massages among other things. It is a job to me that I will continue to possess until God says otherwise.
