Long time no see
I really like the idea of a M&G. I wish I could have made it to the last one down on the Coast, but I was out of town at that time. I'm always up for meeting new people, and my schedule is probably going to be freeing up finally in the near future.

Road Lizard, I agree with Muse that you rock! We appreciate that you're making the effort to bring more life into future M&G's. If I'm able to attend, I'll definitely be there when one is formed.
As far as doing so without certain narcissistic individuals showing up to spoil our fun, I'm definitely all for that as well. ;-)

One of the purposes of this thread was to get people to thinking about M&Gs and contacting me thru PMs, ladies and guys, with their concerns and needs. That is happening and I'm getting the real info that helps us all in planning and making it happen.
And to everyone that has contacted me, THANK YOU, you are making this work. Anyone else that is interested and/or have concerns about someone else, please PM me. I do not release info that anyone tells me. Once a PM comes to me, I write down their name, what location and their concerns then delete the PM other than responding to them.
All this new info should help pull together a nice party for us and that will lead to more frequent and larger parties. In fact, I'm feeling really encouraged about something happening possibly very soon.

I am very excited about the possibility of meeting some of my fellow hobbyists. I think that if everyone agrees to some basic ground rules and that the event is by invitation only at a location only known by the attendees, then I would feel very comfortable. I like the idea very much that biomed1 brought up about a committee doing the screening and inviting.
