Knowing the disgusting cut throat nature of the media it was probably all planned to oust Lauer by bringing in a sex scandal, lol. None of these sexual harassment cases will ever see a court room. That's the way public life is, it's all about an image.

I don't know about if there was a purpose in ousting Matt Lauer on purpose.

but I think this is a push by the feminists to change the nature of politics and put more women in positions of power in the workplace and in Congress and state legislatures.

It may have the effect of people not wanting to hire females for fear of accusations.

"In 2001, the woman said, Mr. Lauer, who is married, asked her to his office to discuss a story during a workday. When she sat down, she said, he locked the door, which he could do by pressing a button while sitting at his desk. (People who worked at NBC said the button was a regular security measure installed for high-profile employees.)

The woman said Mr. Lauer asked her to unbutton her blouse, which she did. She said the anchor then stepped out from behind his desk, pulled down her pants, bent her over a chair and had intercourse with her."

He was fired for violating company policy. Not her. She consented.

Well it's either she told on him and should have been fired for complying or there are cameras in his office he didn't know about. Or maybe she set him up on purpose.

I agree. I've known some of my fellow navy bubbas who felt if they ever owned their own business, they would NOT have any women working there, so as to TOTALLY avoid all sexual harassment issues period.
