What are some things you look for while looking up a providers number? Obviously an Eccie link. But I see a few others that look fishy. "Toosluts" review board looks fishy to me. What are some common signs to avoid?

A lot of them are fishy. Escort phone search seems to be reliable. The things to look for are photos that aren't of the lady in the ad, a variety of ages in the ad (if you see ads with 19, 24, 30, etc, it's likely that the lady is a fake).

Bottom line, look for inconsistencies.

Google a phone number works both ways - yes as a provider you should see many ads or links or long-term presence. Jag is right, if still available clicking on them and matching pics is good. But like Jag says before sticking with Eccie or p411 providers is a pretty safe bet so choose wisely and safely as we do:

Google a guys/potential client # can tell me a lot about a client before they show up; usually do this for guys who have no reference or "newbie" - I've found good and bad doing this.
1) a SLED agent supposedly
2) a person's workplace and business website
3) johns exposed - some good some bad - very cautious if this pops up
4) if they advertise on craigslist i.e. motorcycles, boats, cars etc - they have $$ lol
5) sometimes some bad stuff so politely refuse the appointment

I cannot find the original post but it was mentioned by a respected member that "Toosluts" was not a real board. So I would not trust reviews that appear on there. Just my .02 cents

That's right, Toosluts is bogus. There was a fake review using my ECCIE username on there a while back. I'm not sure what that site is getting by post fake reviews

I'd rather a gent NOT Google my number, because a bunch of negative and fake things come up and those that do not know me are basing judgement on a book cover they have yet to speak with. Not fair.
Rather I tell newbies to use escort phone search and tineye, to help aid them in the verification searches

I completely concur...Tineye is phenomenal and definitely helps weed out the bogus information from the real deal.

Using a Google image search seems to work a lot better than TinEye these days it seems (at least to me). If you have never done it, it is surprisingly simple. Go to www.google.com, click on "Images" in the upper right and then drag the picture you want to search for to the search bar. It will show you every website with that picture as well as similar images.
