It has nothing to do with protecting kid but everything to do with tracking data. Get it all in one place with powerful government overreach so an agency can easily get a subpoena for it. Right now you would need to get the whole history from the ISPs, which would be difficult. But individual porn companies do not have an army of lawyers and lobbyist to defend them so they would have to comply.

You do know the push to make prostitution a felony was an old Democrat hag from houston, right?

You do know that the suit to shut PornHub was brought by our Republican Texas AG who has dodged securities fraud charges for years, had an alleged extramarital affair and faces possible indictments for pressuring his employees to do favors for an indicted real estate developer? And that the felony bill was approved by the GOP majority in the state Legislature and signed into law by Abbott?

You do know that republicans hold a super majority in both the State House and Senate in addition to the governor, lt. governor, and attorney general being republicans. So regardless of who initiated it, nothing becomes law in Texas unless the republicans want it. So what’s your point?

Republicans viciously against national gun registration. They know how atrocious it is to have a company or any government entities to keep a database of crucial information about American people. But they voluntarily voted to pass a law that requires websites to record the ID of every citizen.

I can only conclude they intended to be evil and do harm.

Once again... I guess there's nothing that can be done! Except there is... Don't ban the content. Ban the device. Make it illegal for people under 18 to have cell phones. Kids aren't logging onto Fucking desktops. They don't even know what desktops are. This isn't about kids watching porn. Anyone who has ever been 16 knows there's no stopping a motivated teenager from seeing tits. This is a backdoor way to attempt to ban all porn. Just as prosecuting every solicitation case as a human trafficking case is a back door way to ban the hobby. But I guess there's nothing to be done.... Unless you use your brain

Of course there is something we can do.
1. Quit voting for people who do this shit
2. Write letters and call you local representative to over turn this bill.
3. Bring a lawsuit against the state for violating 1st amendment rights.

No wait, we are talking about kids accessing porn. Yea, not going to get much traction with that that issue with the public.

does not matter the motives behind the bill. As long as the general public hears it's protecting kids form a bunch of perverts, its a winner for the government.

This bill has nothing to do with the device you access porn from. Don't know where you got the desktop remark from.

Of course kids see porn. So? Back in my day, I could not buy playboy until I was 18. Did not stop me but did slow me down. Are you saying we should do nothing to reduce access to kids?

If kids don't have phones...they won't see porn. Womp Womp Womp.

It's not the government's job to do this. It's the parents job. Shitty parents also let their kids eat paint chips. We don't Id for buying paint. Shitty parents do shitty parent things. But hey... Maybe the government should do everything. They're great at it

Oh... By the way. We talk about some really adult shit on this website too. Lots of talk about tits. Are you ready to Pony up your ID to make sure a teenager doesn't google eccie? If not, save us all the save the children lecture.

The internet is full of shit meant for adults. Do we upload id to watch horror movies? Videos of mass shootings? Romeo and Juliet is about two teenagers Fucking. Upload ID for the ebook? A Farewell to Arms isnt appropriate for a toddler. Upload id for the ebook?

But... Nothing can be done! We have to give our DNA to stop teenage boys from seeing tits!

Y'all just don't get it - the second most expensive whorehouse in the US of A, the State Capitol in Austin, just hates competition.

Y'all can figure out where the most expensive whore house in the US of A is... (I hope).

Proton VPN would like to thank the TX government for millions of downloads. Seriously, who elects these clowns?

I started using Hamster, but now they won't allow access to their site because of Texas law. Governor Abbott and AG Paxton are trying to make men monogamous or celibate. At least I have lots of downloaded videos for entertainment.
