Default German FKK Sauna Clubs - Oase & Manhattan

If you haven't taken yourself to one of the many FKK Clubs in Germany, then put it on your "bucket list." FKK is an acronym from another language for nudist club. Not all are populated with providers, but many are, such as Oase, Manhattan, etc. near Frankfurt.
I just returned from several winter trips to Germany and Holland and was suprised by the quality and quantity of providers available in various venues. First, Amsterdam is famous for it's Red Light District where girls in skimpy dress stand in windows illuminated by red neon lights. Pick a girl, knock on the door, make a deal and you're in. Prostituion is legal, but pimping or brothels per se are not. Must be over a hundred windows populated in the easier to find areas every night, and every type of lady you can imagine stands behind the windows. It's all legal!
Amsterdam also has social clubs where ladies gather in varying numbers. You can have a drink, socialize with the ladies, take you pick for a fling for 50 or 60 Euros in a private room. Visited two and found attractive ladies and otherwise in both.
But, Amsterdam pales IMHO, compared to that which awaits in Germany. Found Oase FKK Club just north of Frankfurt. You can ride the Bad Homen Ubonn from the Central Bohnhoff to the end of the line and an ever-present taxi will take you the rest of the way for about 10 Euro. Oase opens about 2 pm and remains open 15 hours until 5 am! You pay about 60 Euro to get in, are given a robe, a towel, a dressing room locker key, and a safe deposit box key. When you step in you will be blown away by the view of totally naked women everywhere inside the upscale facility -- and they are all ready to roll in the "sex room" sack with you for 50 Euro.
The price of admission includes soft drinks, dinner (decent food!), saunas, whirlpool, swimming pool, porn room, social rooms, etc. Men typically wear robes or towel. Ladies typically wear nothing but a small purse in which they carry their goodies (except on Thursdays, which is "dress up" night which is some form or underware or bikinis -- owner says naked gets boring.
During both of my recent visits there were about 100 ladies present and anywhere from 30 to 70 men a one time. Men generally sit around on sofas or lounge chairs in various rooms (or outside around the pool in the summer) and ladies circulate around being friendly and looking for clients.
There is nothing quite like rooms full of friendly naked women! When you find one you want to invest your Euros into, she will take you to an available "sex room" for privacy, or many get after it on the sofas, etc. You can watch or you can play. On my first trip my frisky went into high gear, and I tapped six beauties, mostly from Albania, and loved every minute of it. Second trip found me calming down to just three.
Also visited the Manhattan FKK in Frankfurt, one of many in the area. It is a smaller club. There were a dozen ladies about and only 4 or 5 men during my afternoon visit. Spent a magnificent time with a stunning 23 year old law student from Albania (lots of ladies from Albania, and most are stunning....) and another equally inspirational lady who was great fun just to be with and awesome on the bed.
I think I will retire and become a guide to such places! It's a pricey trip from the states for just a visit to one, but if you happen to be there....mercy, mercy.

Looking forward to it...

My google research seems to show the best stop would be one short of the end, so the Ober-Eschbach stop on the U-bahn from Frankfurt am Main, and from there a ten minute cab ride to Oase. A poster on another site mentioned going on the S-bahn to Friedrichsdorf and cab from there. I suppose it depends on where you are staying in or around Frankfurt. So barring any advice to the contrary, I think I will try the U-bahn to Ober-Eschbach. Then on to hobbyist heaven...

No do not take the U-bahn. Take the S-bahn to Friedichsdorf via Bad Hamburg. In Friedichsdorf you can either take a taxi or take the bus. The train to Ober-Eschbach is the regional train. It doesn't go from Frankfurt to Ober-Eschbach.

Hmm...have you tried recently? This route map seems to indicate I could go from Hauptwache in Frankfurt to Ober-Eschbach on the U2...

I stand corrected there is a U-bahn going to Ober-Eschbach, but that route is not a good route to take. You can try it but you're really going against the grain as to what everybody that's experienced does.

For most people Frankfurt am Main HBF is the main train station that everybody will be traveling from. People arriving from the airport will be taking the S-line and getting off at Frankfurt HBF. From Frankfurt HBF you can then buy a ticket to Friedrichsdorf via Bad Homburg. I forget the exact amount but the price is between 8-9 Euros, I think it's 8.9 Euros. It will be the S5 line and will take 26 minutes. From Friedrichsdorf you can either take a taxi or the bus. I've done both. Taxi takes about 10 minutes and bus/walk combo takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Taxi should cost I think 9 Euros, the bus/walk is free. If you get off at Bad Homburg (two stops prior to Friedrichsdorf) a taxi cost something like 14 Euros.

What you're proposing is a little bit of a hassle and really saves you nothing, and actually cost you more time. From the airport you're going to need to get off at Frankfurt HBF anyway. From Frankfurt HBF you have to buy a ticket to Willy-Brandt-Platz. The Willy-Brandt-Platz stop is the U5 train and it's the first stop. I think for one stop the tickets are either 1.2 or 2.1 Euros. In addition to the U5 ticket I believe you'll need to buy another ticket since the U5 train is the purple line and the train from Willy-Brandt-Platz to Ober-Eschbach is the blue line. I don't know exactly how much that cost, but I'd imagine it'd be about the same or more then the Friedrichsdorf ticket. Once you're at Willy-Brandt-Platz you better hurry your ass and get to the correct U2 platform because the train to Ober-Eschbach arrives in 5 minutes. They take off within a minute.

I just checked on google maps and it's a 10 minute taxi ride vs an 11 minute taxi ride. Just to get from Frankfurt HBF to Ober-Eschbach it's a total of 18 stops. Compare that to Frankfurt HBF to Friedrichsdorf which is only 10 stops. On top of that there is no need to do any train transfers like you would need to if you're going to take the U-bahn.

Now if your hotel or where ever you're staying is right on the U-bahn then by all means use it, but for most people taking the S line is ideal. There are plenty of places to stay around the main station and really as a tourist you'll want to stay around the main train station if you plan on staying in Frankfurt. Frankfurt isn't exactly the most happening place to be, but for convenience, nightlife and for just things to do the area around the main train station is where you'll want to be.

Me personally though I just want to go to the FKKs and I plan my hotel stays around the FKKs themselves. I travel cheap since all I really need is a bed to sleep so that way I can get up the next day and head straight to the FKK when I wake up. In fact just 3 weeks ago I rented a car and for one night I didn't even bother to stay at a hotel. I just slept in the car right next to the FKK. I don't recommend it though. It's kind of uncomfortable and it is kind of scary. Plus it was freezing cold that night and I had to wear three layers of clothes, and at around 10 am with the sun shining so brightly it was hot as hell in the car.

Do as much research as you can if this is going to be the first time you'll be in Germany and visiting FKKs. I remember my first time. It was a disaster because I could not figure out how to use the damn ticket machines and I didn't understand how to get to the right platforms and taking the right trains.

Visit bahn.de, that is the website that will show you how to get to and which are the best routes to Oase. BTW they are starting to upgrade the ticket machines at the train station. At the main train station they are using newer machines that allows you to search for your destination much like bahn.de. The older machines are found at the smaller stations and you can get confused as to how to use them. To use the older machines you'll have to look up your stop on a printed sheet next to the machine. From there you type in the code that they give you.

Don't know if this will help you any, but I mainly wrote this for everyone that is new to Germany so that way they don't try do something that is against the grain. We're foreigners in a totally foreign country so you'll want to do what's easiest, cheapest and most convenient. This route has been personally tested by me and approved by the most experienced mongers in the world. Follow this route and you cannot go wrong. If you're feeling a little adventurous and want to try to save even more money in Germany then talk to me in private.

Personally I stay in one of the smaller towns outside of Frankfurt and rent a car. I've found that no combination of suggestions, google maps, and pre-planning can substitute for a good GPS. FKK's are typically in out of the way places...off country roads or in industrial parks...so a car and a GPS gives you maximum flexibility.

As I've mentioned before there is only one problem with FKKs...they spoil you for anything else!
