Default Welcome & Introductions Section
I was told that I can post a thread to the welcome and intro section when I am visiting a new city. For example this is my first trip to visit Houston, but I have been a verified provider in Dallas for a few months. Why was my thread deleted? I also plan to visit Austin for the first time next month and was hoping to start a thread for my welcome to Austin.

Someone misinformed you. The Welcome and Introduction forums are for new members only and for use during their first 7 days of membership.

You are a Verified Provider now and so you are free to submit an ad in the Provider Ad forums when you visit a new city, but you are not allowed to submit a new welcome thread.
