current restaurant recommendations
Some NON-HOBBY friends are travelling to SA for the first time later this month and I am hoping to point them to some of the better restaurants in the city.
They will be doing the Riverwalk and catching the usual tourist sites. It has been a few years since business took me to San Antonio so I am out of the loop on where to direct them. Looking to introduce them to Tex-Mex, breakfast spots, as well as some of the better dinner spots.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Boudro's on the Riverwalk. Great food at reasonable price. The V bar at Hotel Valencia. It is a hot spot on the weekends. Stay out of the Chart house. Over priced food low quality.

Chart House USED to be sooo good. Locations were top notch.. I am pretty sure they are owned by Landry's now.. damn chains are ruining fine dining.
Try "The Grill" in original Macaroni Grill -- in Leon Springs..

Tuk Tuk Taproom
Bliss & Il Sogno (really fine dining)
The Monterey
Feast
All great spots and also great for small plate sharing so your guests can try a lot of eats.
