I can't say that I'm surprised. Everyone knows about the DARK SIDE to BP. The thuggery on this site (BP) is breathtaking, you name it. It takes a high level of skill to sift through these (BP) ads and weed out the bull crap. I myself have been a victim many times to this site (BP). If you haven't been robbed at gunpoint after responding to one of these (BP Escort Ads) it's just a matter of time. Get out while your on top of your game.

I used backpage one time before i found eccie. Backpage was terrible experience. The person in the add was not the same plus i had to do all the work. I just like to lay back and be taken care of lol

For those of us that advertise on BP, it is going to be a big hit if it does go black.
I understand police officials wanting to crack down and go after the babies and pimps, but damn.
It is a different breed of gents and a breathe of fresh air to meet men unfamiliar to review boards.
This just sucks.

If they shut down bp another site will pop up. There is to much money being made for it to ever go away. As long as men are willing to pay for it there will be someone willing to set up a site to profit from adds.

Providers what does it cost to put an add up on bp? I know there are free adds but to stay at the top of the list I think you have to pay. Curious what it cost and how long its good for once you pay.

It depends on the city a lady advertises in, honestly.
Sponsor ads (side of page) is cheapest route.
Daily pin line ads post same time daily, for 4 days or longer..
Va, for all 7 cities as pin lines is 88.00 for 4 days

wow had no idea bp was getting that kind of revenue from adds. There must be thousands of paid adds at any one time. I need to figure out a way to put money in my pocket from the hobby. Hey maybe I could get into the pimp game lol

It is a new ad site, but those types are not very trustworthy. To me, it is just like any other flop site that piggy backs our ads just to have ttaffic come to them

I concur it does take a high level of skill to sift through the BP ads. Right Click to Google Search image, checking phone numbers, and thinking with the higher ranking head. Also checking the bathrooms and adjoining room doors after arriving. Twice I was almost a victim, the first encounter the pimp had a long stare down with my Flat Dark Earth Glock 23 with a Surefire XC1 light (he was brandishing a 6" hunting blade)partially blinding his vision due to the dimly lit room. The second pimp in a different encounter didn't like the possibility of my 3 inch push dagger going into this rib cage if he decided to grab me. If my Glock and push dagger cant follow me in the room on a BP visit i'm not staying. Ladies that I may find on BP that have reviews, my everyday carries stay in the vehicle. BP is definitely full of fuckery and danger!

Not to get off topic but, Herb, I get ya. But I try to stay away from BP and only stick with well reviewed ladies on Eccie, TER and P411. Even though I have a concealed carry permit, I don't carry while hobbying. The thought of getting caught up in a sting while carrying a gun (and then facing a firearms charge on top of whatever else is thrown at you) is frightening. I don't want to get into a situation where I'm potentially facing a pimp anyway.

Be careful out there.

I don't really have much to ad to the conversation other than in MS, you don't need a permit to carry, concealed or otherwise.

Protection is more than a piece of rubber(latex)........

Lizard - that's correct. But with my enhanced concealed carry, I can carry pretty much anywhere except a police station or court while in session.

So, if I want to see a provider in the back pew of my church (I'm Baptist), I'm good to go!

The good thing for those of us who do utilize BP as a form of advertisement, at least nothing has changed. I hope it stays that way for a while.
Guys, most Indy ladies do advertise on there as well, so it isn't all bad.
Do not let your lackluster experiences jade your mind towards the hidden gems you find on there.
