The most entertaining situation would be that they block a moderate, well-qualified candidate simply because Obama nominated them (or maybe even multiple candidates!) because that makes them very angry. This helps ensure that the Republican candidate doesn't get elected because he is lumped in with the "obstructionists." So Clinton or Sanders wins the election and they nominate Obama.
