They did it in 2015 and I think that was the only time I've seen it.

Demand was so great the vendor couldn't keep up with it.

Other than some weird fried foods that you can find at most Food Truck gatherings what is the attraction to the State Fair for Adults? Kids stuff like animals and 3rd Rate Carnival games and rides but I saw few things to interest an Adult. Please report back on your findings I would be interested.

all kinds of free music concerts, new car/truck expo, lots of food & drink (if they have pie malts, have one!!), arts & crafts, lots of peopke watching.

maybe get it on in a secluded spot ???

Wikipedia backs up ntxguy's assertion. Wikipedia is 100% facts, and Pat Boone starred in the movie. He would have rejected the Role if the film claimed it to be the Texas State Fair.
