After being high school sweethearts, Bubba and Becky Mae finally tie the knot. After the wedding and the BBQ, they get in Bubba’s truck and head off to Harrison for the honeymoon.

That night, there is a knock on the door of Bubba’s daddy’s trailer. Putting down his beer he gets his gun and goes to answer the door. There is Bubba standing on the steps. “Bubba? What are you doin here boy? Your supposed to be consumatin that marriage with Becky Mae.”

“I know it Daddy.” Says bubba. “I got up to the Motel 6 and got her nekkid and everything. I took one look at her and I knowed it immediately. She is a virgin. I got right in my truck and a come back home.”

Daddy scratches his head and says “You done right son. That girl has 3 brother and if she ain’t good enough for her own kin-folk… then she ain’t good enough for you either.”

I've heard that joke before. I'm pretty sure that went down in Alabama.

When I moved here- I must have heard that joke and about 8 more like it from a dozen or more people. It was like "We are going to make fun of ourselves before you do." I bet you get the same jokes in Alabama, Mississippi and West Virginia too. I heard something similar last year in Ireland.

West Virginia. I can believe it!! That's the state creepy-ass movies come from... you know, the ones where the bad guy looks like Sloth from Goonies and the stupid little white girl who always goes back into the scary house when everyone tells her to run and the black/mexican dude lusting after the stupid white chick gets knocked off first..... yea, that kinna movie!! Hehe!!
