I've been in Houston just about 7 weeks now. I reviewed 172 Show Cases. I selected 28 I was interested in. After reading reviews I was down to 18. Of the 18... 8 had phone numbers. I saw 6 of these providers. I sent PM'S to the other 10 and heard back from 3. Of the three I saw only 1. After that made 4 BP adventures come to reality.

Phone numbers get called first and seem to have the best "Prompt" success rate!

Any thoughts?

There is one huge reason why I do not post my phone number and never will. Let's say one day a wife or girlfriend goes through your phone. She finds a number she does not recognize. She googles it and an escort ad pops up. Kinda hard to explain why you have that number in your phone. Then it creates all kinds of drama for me too. DRAMA I don't need. Also I am not newbie friendly and I only want men that have been screened to call me. Those are my reasons for not posting my number.

I certainly understand and appreciate you weighing in. It would seem the consensus is there is NOT enough business out there. While some providers have all the business they can handle or care to handle, others do not. I find it interesting that gals have show cases without phone numbers but then advertise elsewhere (ECCIE & BP) and list a number.

I can go to the candy store as much as I wish and any time I want. I know other guys want to get some candy but are being watched and are restricted.

When I want something I generally want it RIGHT NOW! I think that is human nature. My point is providers are missing out on business by NOT listing their numbers. I was curious if other Hobbyist felt this same way. And when you PM 10 providers and only 30% get back to you, and a 1-2 week screening process takes place, you find yourself skipping over Show cases without numbers.

Sadly this is true. Like Audrina said, someone can "GOOGLE" a phone number and BAM!! an ad or showcase from ECCIE shows up. THAT SUCKS!! We MODS have asked if the "GOOGLE SEARCH" can be blocked from accessing ECCIE. As far as we know, the answer is "NO"!

For me it depends on how bad I want to see the girl. If I've never seen her before and want to see her bad enough then I will go thru whatever her screening process is. Did it with Audrina and am glad I did. If I want to see someone right now then I'll generally call someone I've already seen. They don't lose my business by not listing a number.

Hence the ever on going discussion about a hobby phone. Even for a provider it would make sense.

Yes but a provider having a hobby phone and listing the number won't cure the problem of wives finding it and googling.

A hobbyist with an SO or family around should most certainly have a hobby phone.

True definition of a "dead end street" is that it does not lead anywhere no matter which direction you drive.

No sorry sweetie, it does not matter what phone you use. Here is an example, my old number that I used to post is 917-740-4324. It is a googlevoice number and if you Google it my old ads pop up. Now if somebody tries to Google my new number that I have never posted nothing comes up.
