Soooo embarrassing! ughhhhhh
So I'm my room with a client and 5-10 minutes later a guy walked in my room like he lived here with a key! Thank god we wasn't doing nothing and he didn't scare my client away... He kinda staired then closed the door so after my client left I called downstairs to the front desk and all they sid was I accidentally gave your room to someone else... no discount or nothing lol

How nice the hotel is doesn't matter. Room assignment / keying screw-ups are rare, but they can happen anywhere. I checked in and walked in on someone fast asleep in "my" room in a high-end business hotel not that long ago. Nikki's advice is spot-on.

I always make sure the deadbolt or chain is closed whenever I visit a lady's incall as I enter.

Always double lock the door!
Several times in different high end hotels the housekeeper has knocked softly then tried to enter, yet to find the hot housekeeper I would want to invite in for a threesome. lol

That would have scared me for sure, thus I always make sure the doors are locked. I spent eight years living in hotels due to my travels for work so I've encountered all kind of situations. Mistakes happen, but you should have got a little compensation for such an event.
I checked into a hotel in Houston once and was given my room key. When I walked in the room there was already luggage on the bed: obviously the wrong room. So I went down to the desk and desk clerk apologized and gave me a new room assignment. When I tried to open that room the guy inside was not very happy (BTW-this was near the space center and the guy was working there). Back down to front desk, this time followed by said guy in room #2. Guy in room #2 chews the clerk out big time and she offers a discount to appease him. To her credit, when I checked in there was about six people around the desk all needing something—she was swamped.
After irate guy from room #2 left it was just me and a very upset clerk doing all she could to keep her composure. After she apologized again I looked her square in the eye and said, "Stop a minute and catch your breath. I'm not upset and mistakes happen." That was all it took and she burst into tears. I reassured her that all was okay with me and she quickly got a grip of herself. She explained that she was new and this was the first time she was on her own. Again I assured her that all was okay which was met by a beautiful, tearful smile and a "thank you".
After getting my third room assignment I went to the room, knocked on the door, then entered my room. After about thirty minutes I went back down to the lobby and let her know my room was great and wished her a good night. This time the smile was just as beautiful but without the tears.

OMG ! I checked into a Westin hotel in the midwest, while I was on tour a couple years ago. I was acclimating + getting comfortable + I was like, naked, eating Chinese food, + on the internet. I was traveling, so I was a little bit dirty + jet lagged. I was NOT HOT, in that specific moment. ALL OF THE SUDDEN, a nuclear family of just opened my hotel door + barged in ! I was so freaked out ! They were so freaked out ! (especially the mom !) Westin double booked my room !!!
