So expanding on your argument, those who have never played a sport would make lousy coaches and should not do so. By your logic, someone who has never done something cannot possibly understand what make something good or not.
How about Bill Clark, Dennis Franchione, Charlie Weis, Bobby Hauck, Paul Johnson, Sonny Dykes, George O'Leary, Mike Leach, Hugh Freeze, David Cutcliffe. And that is just a few FSU College football coach's who have never played.
One does not have to do to be able to teach others or critique Never mistake not willing to do something with unable. One does not have to write a review to be able to recognize what elements make a poor one or a great one. Clearly many writers of reviews could use a few lessons.
You, on the other hand, have an outstanding resume of fiction writing and would do well in that area.
