In. My opinion, the Republicans in The Seanate should look at one issue concerning any nominee.
That is, how does that nominee feel about the 2d Amendment.
Everything else should take a back seat. PERIOD.

So you'd rather take the chance on Hillary or Bernie getting to make this decision? If one of them wins they will likely have a democrat senate to go through. And the nominee will be a much more liberal one. Can you imagine who Sanders would nominate?
The republicans have 24 seats at risk this election cycle, 7 of those in states Obama won twice. They are better off playing tough with Obama now but getting a centrist or center left judge than risking a very, very liberal judge cruising through a democratic majority senate. The devil you know is better than the devil you don't.
And for the record, I'm no Obama fan and don't like anybody running for president right now. Hillary is sleazier than Bill, Bernie is a whack job, Trump is a blow hard with no actual policy that would actually happen, Cruz is roundly despised by everybody he comes into contact with, Rubio isn't anywhere near ready, Jeb is... Jeb. Nobody else counts.

Elections matter. For both Conservative, and Liberal, this next Presidential Election will be one of the most important in the Country's history when it comes to what America is, and what it will become.
The Country will mourn, and then get on with the business at hand.

It'll be interesting to see if Eric Holdup's name is one of those sent up. The only AG in the nation's history to be held in contempt of Congress. And as far as mourning, the radical lying libs are all prolly having an orgy over this.

His attempts to circumvent the Constitution this way before have been handed back to him, with 9-0 votes, as unconstitutional. But that was then and this is now. If odummer does his imperialist ruler imitation, the dumbascraps will pay for it in the next election.

Here Comes The Evil: The Left Reacts To The Death Of Antonin Scalia
Reaction on the left to the death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia has been nothing short of evil.
From curses of damnation and shouts of joy, to malevolent wishes, the enmity for the nation’s longest serving justice is on full display – as is the true nature of America’s left.
Over at DemocraticUnderground, perhaps the nastiest of the left-wing blog sites, the commenters couldn’t contain their joy and the death of another human being.

Based on the current "track record" of the Republicans in Congress a pissing contest over a Justice is like pissing in a hurricane....A majority of the voters probably couldn't get any more pissed off at both houses of Congress ... To them "Congress" is someone from either House. The do-nothings in there now were not sent there "to do more NOTHING".... like they've been "DOING"!
Hopefully, Obaminable will flush his ego and arrogance and engage in some "pre-appointment" advice and discussions with both sides of the aisle in the Senate to get a feel of who might be palatable to enough votes to get someone through the gauntlet without an extended bloodletting that will just piss everyone off even more .... Will he do it?*
*Bernie's got a better chance of "running the table" in the general election.

The only real chance of that: if he picks a nominee so universally admired that it would be too embarrassing for the Senate not to respond."

Yesterday it was Trump sucking the oxygen out of Hillarious's campaign.
Now it's Scalia! Even dead he can ruin her.
What kind of a Justice do "you" think the FBI wants ruling on CJ and LE cases?

Pretty hysterical bullshit LLephantMan.
Scalia was a racist, misogynistic toad. Good riddance.
And now, let's listen to all you fucking constitution lovers support Mitch McConnell's campaign to attack the fucking constitution. Will your pal Trump pick Sarah Palin to be on the SCROTUS?
Even in death, Scalia continues to make you dipshits sound like idiots.
Rail on, dipshits!

You'll probably have to explain to YouRong who that is ....
... Scalia's toe nail trimmings had more intelligence that YouRong could even dream of having on his best day of napping in the afternoons.
All that YouRong can do these days is call people names and rant!
He apparently is beginning to see ...
.... the "light at the end of his tunnel of handouts"!
