I would say he's not retired. There is a "high" from hunting down a prospect. Reading reviews or their posts as you you get more aroused. Preparing yourself to have a warm mouth traveling everywhere on you.....The thrill of the chase can just as important as the the session itself to some people, namely sex addicts. All those happy neurochemicals are pumping way before anyone an addict even touches someone else.
The bbfs scaring him off from doing anything makes sense to me. If some girl is willing to go bare a risk-adverse man would take that as too high of a risk to partake and might be turned off enough that any activity would be impossible. It sounds like he needed to research a bit more.

I feel that doing the research is part of the hobby experience. I enjoy reading the reviews, deciding who I would be interested in visiting. As long as this man is looking he is enjoying the hobby. The rest is finding out how much he is enjoying the hobby.
