Default Obama Stands Firm On Protecting Social Security In 2016 Budget

Here is one good thing Obama is standing up for:

I wouldn't necessarily call it a good thing. By 2030, it's estimated that all of our tax revenue will be spent on SS, Medicaire/Medicaid and interest. Where's the rest going to come from?

You don't get it. SS is an animated corpse. It's already dead as it is. The only way to "save" it is to do something so drastic that no one will want to do it.

What we really have here is Obama dangling a fish hook and you bit into it.

If "they" want to send me a check for the amount I have paid in plus interest at the "market interest value" (reflecting an average market value for an investment return of money) on a "per month" basis over the years of contributions, and tell me I don't have to keep contributing ... I'll be happy.

He better stand up for Social Security. He's going to need it after he leaves office. I bet he knows it too, lol.

Are you really seeking truth or a government check? The Republicans aren't going to cut benefits to old people. The article just stresses something about "disabled" folks (didn't you admit to collecting disability bennies?)

I agree with the Republicans about re-examining the folks and criteria for folks who are "disabled." A former neighbor is collecting benefits for alcoholism. She goes to meetings but occasionally I'll go over to her place Saturday afternoon and she's boozing it up with some buddies.

You should report her. That's what a good communist would do. You know, for the good of the motherland and all.

It will come from corporate elites and the .0005 familes that hoard their riches. Have another question? Greed is the the most corrupt thing that can ever happen to a human society.

I know where I come from and I know it's a good thing. Capitalist Chronies, such as yourself, will never intimidate me. By the way, the government we have now is not democractic...it's called "corporate fascism".

You label poor people as lazy, so that you will not have to share your wealth with people who have no options. That's what I love about Hollywood and Hollywood actors and actresses. They make so much, they enjoy giving their overflow to society, especially to those that come from poor families, and what should I call it . .."the unfortunate ones".

I believe I read an earlier post on here about "400 families who own half the wealth in America'. He said it better than me.

A good communist accepts what their leaders tell them without complaint and accept what they do to them without action. So now we know that you are a good communist Baby Killer. What else is new?

Your figures are off. I visit the social security website and it's not bankrupt. They are moving funds from a privatised interest group to society. There are two different trust funds. One of them is private. Do more research. Social security has plenty to care for their own until 2033.

You don't scare me and you don't scare the rest of the 99 percent. you "Chrony Capitalist". .. I would like to call you something else, but I have too much pity for you, so will leave this conversation instead.
